SHAD's New TR30 Adventure Panniers
SHAD are back with the latest instalment in their motorbike adventure luggage range and it is sure to attract a lot of interest.
The TR30 motorcycle panniers are hot off the press, having just been released, and build on the foundations that have previously been set by SHAD’s existing terra luggage cases.
In particular, they have been spawned out of the lofty standards created by the TR40 panniers and the warm reception they have received from the bike community.
The TR30s can be mounted using the 3P pannier fitting kit, a secure rack with a minimalist appearance, or the 4P pannier fitting kit, a frame that features an additional mounting point for an extra degree of stability. That is then where the double locking system comes into play, meaning the panniers can be locked directly to the bike as well as being locked themselves.
This latest addition also sees the return of six adjustable straps and buckles, adding further stability for the more taxing of rides.
Moving on, now that the similarities are out of the way, it is time to address how the TR30 side bags set themselves apart.
The 30 litre capacity of each TR30 is a drop down from their counterparts and while that could seem like a disadvantage, it offers something different with a smaller, more refined size for a seamless fit to the motorbike and a clean, modern look.
Size, as always, should be a consideration with motorcycle luggage, but the real difference maker found with these panniers is their waterproof structure. With a triple-layer, polyester material and double-sided coating, the TR30s are 100% waterproof and have IPX6 water rating.
In fact, they are SHAD’s first waterproof adventure panniers and do not require an inner bag, like the TR40s, to keep belongings dry.
That then leads proceedings to the next point. TR30 panniers can be used in conjunction with the soon-to-be-released TR10, SHAD’s first waterproof tank bag, and any of the terra top boxes for a full waterproof luggage set and a complimentary look.
The TR30 adventure motorcycle panniers have now hit the market and all that remains is to secure yourself a set.
