The tr55 top box has been a fantastic addition to our ride from Australia to Wales. It’s spacious, with handy top hooks perfect for strapping down a tent or extra gear. Fully waterproof, it kept everything bone dry, no matter the weather.
One thing worth noting is that the black finish was a drawback in hot climates, getting too hot to the touch. Thankfully, that's not much of an issue back home in Wales!
The SHAD TR40 panniers have been brilliant on our ride from Australia to Wales. They've handled rain, dust, and rough trails without a hitch, keeping our gear bone dry, even through torrential downpours in Indonesia. The 4P racks made loading easy, though unlocking the outer straps each time was a bit of a faff.
What really impressed me was how they held up after a few drops on sandy and muddy trails, with no damage at all, unlike the dents you'd get with aluminium panniers. I'd love a bit more expansion options, but overall, they've been tough, reliable, and well worth it.

I’m a new rider and the first thing I noticed when I got my Rebel 500 up to speed was the amount of wind hitting my chest. With it being the middle of winter it doesn’t take long for this to become annoying. I did some research and this windscreen looked to be a good choice, and it was. It was simple to fit, looks great on the bike, and most importantly deflect all of the wind off my chest. It’s even tall enough to tuck in behind. You will still get wind into your helmet, but it’s a biiiig improvement over not having any protection.
Simple to fit very clever fitment. I ask Kawasaki when I purchased the bike who told me there wasn't a tank bag available, however this shad tank system is the business very impressed.✔️👍
Great service next day delivery. Tank bag is of an excellent quality. Fits very well. I purchased the lockable version which I think adds excellent security too. The tank ring is fairly easy to fit remember to put something over the filler I used a disposable glove ensuring nothing falls into the tank.

Mounting structure is very solid, good for mounting top box from other brands as well. Highly recommend this mounting kit.
However the securing bolts came with the mounting kit weren’t best fit, they were the 40mm M6 hex screw turned out to be slightly too long and unable to fully secure the mounting kit arm base.
Perhaps team at Bike Luggage can verify if that’s the case too? It could be just my CB125R is different.
But I thought to put in this review for your attention anyway.

Some instructions would be useful.. I still haven't managed to get them on the luggage rail, guess it'll be a search on youtube!
A simple enough job to do once you have got your head around the instuctions. If you have a top carrier already fitted the instructions tell you to remove a tail piece that has ready been moved previously. Only a couple of sizes of Torx bits a pair of spins and something to undo the clip on the pannier power plug are required.

VG box which I ordered with the back rest and colour coded top. It looks vg and is clearly well made. I was perturbed to find that I had to drill holes in the box to fit these and the bit size quoted in the instructions was wrong ( they quote a 7mm hole when 5 is perfect!). Hole drilling is fine if done with care but I was sweating a bit - probably fine if you know what you’re doing.
Had difficulty getting the box to clip into the fitting plate but this is probably down to newness.
Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase, it’s a good size and looks (as much as a top box can) good on my bike. Looking forward to putting it to use once the weather bucks up.
Very solid and well designed piece of kit that fits my bike perfectly. The instructions are a bit ‘flat pack furniture’ in style and definitely not as clear as they could be. The fitting plate was packed with many nuts, bolts, spacers etc but NO INSTRUCTIONS!!!! Eventually had to download info from internet and work out which of the bolts, spacers etc were relevant. Not impressed with this.

This is a well designed product and seems robust. I spent time looking at what was available and, as ever, was influenced by price. This item was more expensive than others but I think the quality justifies the price
Bought shad top box fitting for royal enfield himalaya 450 fitting was straight forward and good quality.
Firstly, quick and prompt service, arrived the next day. Simple to fit using the existing bolts and tested on a ride up the motorway. Massive difference to wind noise and rain deflection compared to the original fly screen. Good quality and looks smart on the bike.
The Puig screen arrived very well packed and easy to assemble with two Allen keys( not supplied). Fitting the assembled screen to the bike is straightforward enough with minor adjustments when sat on the bike and off the side stand. Test ride on the road provided the wind deflection my wife )whose bike it is ) was looking for. Production quality was as expected from Puig.
Can't thank bike luggage enough I ordered something by mistake and I didn't check my order andy it was after dinner so a quick call and Alex sorted it straight away, and money was in the bank next day. So thanks again keep the good work up.
