I brought a rack and top box for my Honda cbf 600. I contacted bike luggage and they provided a price for each with the options for the top box size. I ordered the items and they were delivered within 48 hours. It was very easy to fit and looks great on the bike. The cost was better than I could find on the internet and after sales service was excellent. I would recommend them

Looks good on the bike. Easy fit, no instructions with top box but not hard to figure out. Some explanation of the intended orientation of plate clamp components would be an improvement. Only just takes a full face helmet laid on its side.

Great box, delivered in less than 48hrs!
Instructions are of course visual illustrations which are Not the easiest. Doesn't show how or the need to remove plastic fixings before starting installation. Biggest problem is the two replaced Allan key bolts are fractionally bigger heads than the Suzuki original which then means the hinged seat doesn't latch easily.

This is a great topbox, fits the helmet it was bought for

A lot lighter than cases from other bikes, but then it has 10L less capacity. Works well, makes the bike a lot more usable. Good for the price.

Box is great-size for my needs of my helmet. Would not lock down initially. Had to make slight adjustment on mounting plate bracket before it would lock on bike.

Key points..

1. a good size / choice for my bike / looks good too!
2. fitting the base plate was very straight forward
3. the actual installation of the back box onto its base plate was problematic as it did not want to simply lock in place
4. I have been persistent with it and I get the feeling its an issue associated with a tight tolerance on the latch and it appears to getting easier with repeated install / removal of the box

At the end of the day the Shad 34 back box was not expensive and it offers excellent value for money when compared to others available on Ebay / Amazon etc.

Had I not had the fitting issues with the latch mechanism then I would have given 5 stars

only 1 small negative, the top box wouldn't fit on the fixing plate as the 2 front lugs were to big so the latch couldn't engage. just filed them down a bit and all is excellant.

This is my third Shad Top Box so i knew what to expect. Simple yet elegant design. Works well and excellent value for money.

Good quality top box , slight delay as stock coming from overseas but kept informed

The top box itself is a very well made item, and certainly looks the part.
Plenty of room for an ADV crash helmet and gloves.

The only thing that let's it down, is the supplied base plate mounting will not lock into position, there are 2 lugs that protrude upwards that the box sits on, lock face of the plate, and these are to tall and won't let the catch fit fully into the locking mechanism.
I saw a review on Utube of a guy who had the same issue, and he filled approximately 2mm of the lugs, and it fitted.
I couldn't contact my supplier who won't answer the phone or return calls, so I bite the bullet and filed my lugs down, and hey presto it works.
You shouldn't have to do this with a brand new piece of equipment.
Otherwise I'm totally happy
