Really happy with the product. Fitted to my BMW R1250 GSA. Relatively simple to put together and install on the bike. The back rest had to be bolted on, which involves drilling 6 holes but it is easy to do. The top plate fitted onto my BMW OE frame. I like the expandability of it, easily fits 2 helmets. The inner bag is nice when you're away. Seems very robust. Great product for the money.

I bought the SH58X from Bike Luggage who were an excellent company to deal with. Great advice on the phone, simple ordering process, fast delivery and we love the new expandable box - loads of space and a big step up from the SH29 we had before. Many thanks to Bike Luggage - top job :)

wide but not too wide, the expandable capacity it great and easy to use, handle release to open it isnt great but i have had this before on bost boxes.

When I needed to upsize my small Shad topbox there was only one option - a bigger Shad box. I’ve always found these to be good quality.

The SH58 box is great, but there were absolutely no instructions in the package. On your web site there are some fitting instructions, but these only covermounting the box to the plate. How to fit the box required a search on YouTube to work out that the various bolts & brackets are not all required !

Excellent product with amazing capacity when fully extended. Easy fits two flip helmets. Also provided extra security for pillion passengers when fitted with the two back rests.

Brought this for my Honda Transalp 750 fits lovely great looking top box, it’s nice and big place the advantage of being able to make bigger or small is quality, great build quality high recommend.

Fitted in winter not using until spring. Better instruction on lock changing would be good or an official YouTube channel

I replaced my stock bmw top box for this Shad 58X, I am used to expandable boxes but this is fantastic, fitted easy with adapter plate, can now get 2 helmets inside, very nice quality

came recommended to me & it included the backrest & luggage bag. I bought it to be able to store two(2) full face helmets with comms , which it does with ease

I have bought this Shad SH58x along with the fitting kit for my BMW S1000 XR.

I input my address without the house number on the shipping details. I rang Bike Luggage when I realised the error, left a message and a couple of minutes later a chap rang me back. . . Explained the situation and he corrected it in time so it was delivered to the right address. That surprised me how efficient they were, so that was a good start.

Top box and fitting kit came on time, all packaged well and as should be.

The fitting kit has paper instructions, informing me to remove any existing plates. The BMW factory stays put! The new fitting plate attaches very well. Holes marry up very well and fixing are good. Top box plate then goes on top of the fitting plate. Also very well. But there wasn't any paper instructions with the top box. . . . I went online and the generic specification for the box is clear to follow. Just need the top box type (SH58x) and then follow the option displayed.

Not used the top box yet but the product looks to be a strong, secure unit. The box doesn't shift at all when on the bike. Disconnects easy and expands simple. Very happy. . . . . Oh yeah, . . . Took me a minute or two to understand how to open the top box initially. latch is just under the SHAD logo (where you would expect it to be) and felt a little daft once I understood how it worked.

I like the top box but struggled to get the mounting plate to fit the rack. The rack instructions are not great. You need to remove the grab rail plus it indicates drilling 4 holes but it’s actually only 2

Once I got it fitted I was very pleased…A good well made box with plenty of space for my needs & easy to remove & refit in seconds

The shad box is really good and convenient for you to store your helmet and personal possessions in. Sometimes the open button gets a bit stuck, but if you put pressure on top of the box when pressing the button in, then it should be okay. I received very good customer service and recommend this company.

Excellent product, looks great. Bought together with mounting bracket for 2017 Multistrada. Easy to fit to bike.

Great back box , quick delivery only moan would be £44:95 for fitting kit 1 bar and some nuts and bolts & plastic inserts !!!
