This SHAD top box fitting kit allows you to mount your choice of SHAD top box to the rear of your Yamaha XSR 125, providing a safe and secure way to carry luggage.

Mounting plates are not included with SHAD fitting kits, however, they are included with each top box, this kit is also compatible with pannier fitting kits unless stated otherwise, offering maximum storage possibilities.

If only it wasn't slightly cheaper, it would be perfect. Heavy, tough, well designed solution for a top box and fits like it should. Instruction is minimal, but adequate. All the screws and nuts were right size. As with all things, time will tell. But there is no reason to expect any problems with the rack, ever.

Easy installation to the sides of the motorbike but I was struggling to fit the plastic plate onto the top of the fitting kit. I couldn't align holes in the plastic plate with the holes on the fitting. I had to drill new holes into the metal fitting kit to be able to mount plastic plate (which holds the top box) on top.
Not sure if I did something wrong... :-/
Still, I would recommend this fitting kit for your Yamaha XSR 125 as they are really sturdy and installation was quiet easy.
